1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GibDiscounts ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

GibDiscounts is Gibraltar's premier discount platform that connects local businesses with consumers. We provide:

• Access to exclusive discounts at participating Gibraltar businesses
• Digital redemption codes for verified members
• A platform for businesses to promote their offers
• User reviews and ratings of local businesses

3. Membership Types

3.1 Member Accounts

Member accounts are for individuals seeking discounts. Members must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of their account credentials
• Pay applicable subscription fees

3.2 Merchant Accounts

Merchant accounts are for businesses offering discounts. Merchants must:

• Be a legitimate business operating in Gibraltar or nearby Spain
• Provide accurate business information and verification documents
• Honor all offers published on the platform
• Maintain professional conduct with members

4. Subscription & Payments

4.1 Member Subscriptions

Membership fees are charged monthly or annually as selected. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT (where applicable). Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

4.2 Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation stops future payments but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. You will retain access until your current period ends.

4.3 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for new members. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your chosen subscription will automatically begin.

5. Offers & Redemptions

5.1 Offer Validity

All offers have an expiry date. Offers are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. Merchants reserve the right to refuse any offer at their discretion.

5.2 Redemption Codes

Redemption codes are for one-time use unless specified otherwise. Codes must be presented to the merchant as instructed. Fraudulent use of codes will result in immediate account termination.

5.3 Merchant Obligations

Merchants must honor all valid offers presented by members. Failure to honor offers may result in suspension or termination of the merchant account.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Share or sell your account credentials
• Attempt to circumvent offer limitations
• Post false or misleading reviews
• Harass or abuse other users or merchants
• Copy or scrape content from the platform
• Attempt to hack or disrupt our services

7. Reviews & Ratings

Users may leave reviews and ratings for businesses they have visited. Reviews must be truthful and based on actual experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are false, misleading, or violate our policies.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on GibDiscounts, including logos, designs, text, graphics, and software, is the property of GibDiscounts or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

GibDiscounts is a platform connecting businesses and consumers. We are not responsible for:

• The quality of goods or services provided by merchants
• Any loss or damage resulting from your use of an offer
• Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
• Actions of third-party payment processors

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the subscription in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your settings. Upon termination, you lose access to all discounts and offers.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or website notice.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of Gibraltar. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Gibraltar.
